When did your milk come in? Boobs have gone massive/ sore.. lots of Braxton Hicks!

Baby has threatened early exit due to size movement etc
I’ve now had steroid jabs and I’m 35 weeks

Last night my breasts were SO sore, today they’re so engorged it feels like when my milk came in after my first was born.
They’re just so sore and leaking slightly, if I squeeze gently colustrum comes out too.
In addition with lots of Braxton Hicks and a few sharp twinges down below .. is this normal ?! About to go on a walk and terrified I’ll go into labour !

the twinges definitely sound like labour, but early labour can last ages. take a phone with you in case?

I was unsure if it’s cause baby is head down and midwife said at my last app ‘ right on the brim’ so wasn’t sure if it was just pressure from that! Generally I feel fine it’s just the breasts that have thrown me caus I didn’t have this till after my section last time !

my milk didn't come in properly (engorged, leaking) until a day or two after i had my son, so i'm not sure about that one!

Mature milk doesn't come in until a minimum of 2 days after the placenta comes out, so I can't imagine it's that. Could be another hormonal effect though.

I jusy remember feeling like this a day or two after my first birth, my boobs went rock hard really engorged and leaking and they’re like this again! So hard and uncomfortable !
