How much blood should there be for the Bloody show?

As the title says, i was wondering how much blood should there be when you get the bloody show. This morning i woke to a massive glob of VERY Red of what i assume is my bloody show, sorry for TMI.

I was prepared for the massive glob of bloodstained mucus, i was however a bit surprised by the density of red after reading that it should just be red tinged or streaked, but it is what it is. What I'm concerned with now is that I'm still wiping bright red blood and some bits of mucus/discharge like substance and its about 2 hours later. Is this normal?

I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, this is my first pregnancy. I have already rang the hospital telling them I had the show and they told me to keep an eye out for continuous bleeding after the show and if I do still bleed then to go in. But I don't know if the 2 hours after the initial bloody show is normal or not.

Again, sorry for the stupid question, and sorry for the long post.

Hiya ring your hospital or MW. If you're still getting it after 2 hours then i would give them another call just to be on the safe side, they won't mind if you keep calling them, that's what they're there for especially if you're concerned at all! Good luck x
