Hi everyone,

I’m currently 28+5 with my second baby and have had tiny amounts of spotting on 4 separate occasions over the last month. I’m just looking to see if anyone else has experienced this & whether there was any reason for it.

Basically if I go to the toilet I’ll wipe & there’s a small streak of red blood on the paper, I’ll wipe again & nothing. A week or so later the same again, we’re talking a tiny amount but definitely coming from that area!

I’ve had it checked out twice & baby has been fine, cervix long, high & closed & no ectropian & they haven’t been able to see any blood. It’s not happened after sex or anything like that so a bit of a mystery!

The baby is moving fine & the hospital have said if it happens again not to worry unless it’s more than this time or accompanied by pain etc..

90% of me says not to worry but also know you’re not meant to bleed. A tiny part of me is worried my placenta might just stop working or something ridiculous like that so just wondering if anyone else had the same - it’s been checked out by the health professionals so can’t do any more on that front!

Thanks for sharing any stories! Smile
