Any tips on where's good for maternity clothes?

Particularly good quality, thick leggings?

Comfy supportive bras?

Workwear? Tops? Pyjamas?

Thanks :) x

I am getting mine from eBay, there's some really nice bargains on there I've already got several occasion dresses from there and they are really good quality.

WindyScales · 18/10/2018 17:36

I got most of mine from jojo Maman Bebe, Mothercare & H&M

PickettBowtruckles · 18/10/2018 17:36

I’m obsessed with Jojo maman Bebe maternity clothes, by far the comfiest and nicest looking bits I’ve found! They are a bit pricey though so have found myself some great eBay bargains for them :)

Nightmanagerfan · 18/10/2018 17:41

H&M:
Mama leggings - best quality I’ve found and only £8.99.
Long sleeved patterned tops
Hipster style maternity pants - so comfy
Maternity tights good too
Mama 2 pack conscious vest tops - great quality
Superstretch trousers - I got these in black and have lived in them

eBay for seraphine workwear. Such good quality and most is lightly worn. Dresses and tops for about £10-18

M&S for nightwear - get the grey over bump PJ bottoms for about £12

JoJo Maman Bebe for stretchy nursing/maternity bras - various options about £12 each. V stretchy and good to wear in bed too

New Look (really!) for long sleeved stretchy tops including the ribbed ones which are a great fit

Those are my best buys so far. I’ve found it all a bit hit and miss and had to return a lot of stuff. Asos didn’t work for me.

Jojo, gap, H&M, seraphine, Isabella Oliver

I managed to get a couple of work dresses from John Lewis and some more casual bits from H&M. Bravissimo is good for maternity bras.

Hush Harems are brilliant for pregnancy and you can still use them when all sore afterwards.

snoopy18 · 18/10/2018 18:08

H&M here :)

Babyboymama · 18/10/2018 18:19

Asda have been the best for me! Also H&M jeans are good at the start but I found once I hit about 35 weeks the waist band just didn’t stretch enough and started digging into the bump so I stopped wearing them

Trixie101 · 19/10/2018 10:56

I second Asda, bought a couple of pairs of jeans from there and they fit really nicely!

TheMagicTorch · 19/10/2018 11:29

Dorothy Perkins have a brilliant sale on at the moment, and I got some lovely maternity leggings from there, as well as some really lovely work clothes (officewear)

I had a bra fitting at Mothercare at the weekend, and the fitting service was brilliant and the non-underwired lace bras are actually very pretty, and much more comfortable than my normal ones.
They also had some nice maternity clothes, although a little pricey but luckily we had a 10% voucher.

Happy shopping Grin

Mamamoosh pyjamas are lovely - not the cheapest but they feel so comfortable and you can wear them for ages after birth as the bottoms have an adjustable waistband. Only online but they have free returns mamamoosh.co.uk

H&M for vests - try to get breastfeeding vests (with the drop downbit for feeding) that are also maternity so you get more use out of them.

My 7forallmankind maternity jeans were just the most comfortable jeans ever (and I tried a lot!) . However they are expensive. If you're going to get them get them early in pregnancy to get the most wear out of them!

ASOS! Smile

bakingdemon · 19/10/2018 13:49

What's getting me through so far is:
H&M leggings and tights. (M&S for thick tights but their selection of maternity hosiery is terrible otherwise).
Debenhams for casual tops.
Seraphine and Isabella Oliver for workwear, esp nice jersey dresses and tops.
JJMB for jeans and jumpers.
My husband's waterproof jackets (so far).
Lots of it borrowed from friends.

CrazyCatLady1993 · 20/10/2018 07:55

I have Next maternity jeans & leggings and they are SO comfy! I have a few tops and dresses from mamalicious. But other than I just buy stretchy midi dresses and stretchy tops!

le42 · 20/10/2018 09:42

I’ve got some lovely dresses from ASOS and New Look, really cheap and pretty.

I like the gap athletic wear, maternity sports leggings are brilliant.

hammeringinmyhead · 20/10/2018 10:02

Hush Amie joggers have seen me right up to now (37 weeks). Bras Emma Jane from ASOS. Tops from New Look, Blooming Marvellous at Mothercare and my favourite place has been Happy Mama online.
