Pregnancy balls

My back is starting to take the strain so I've bought a pregnancy/fitness ball for sitting on at home. I've seen somewhere that they should be inflated/deflated a bit/inflated gradually over a day or so, but it just says to do it fully on the instructions in the box.
Any advice from ball users? Is this necessary? Don't want it to burst on me from blowing it up too much in one go

I've had a fitness ball for years - mine is actually from a physio site. I just initially inflated mine to the approximate size using a tape measure to check, and when it deflates put more air in it.

How soon can you start using a ball? Was thinking about this other day- meant to be good for us isn’t it

I just inflated mine and used it straight away. Never occurred to me I couldn’t.

I think I'll just blow it up and use it straight away then

I’ve just bought one, need to inflate it. Reading the instructions it says inflate to 80% then leave for a day before topping up to 100%.

Or maybe I'll do it to 80%, then top it up to 100% the next day 😉
