I saw this online this morning, and it made me chuckle. Is anyone else experiencing this with their DH/DP?

Have to admit my DH has put on weight since I've been pregnant!!

Yep, DH always looks pg but has just started working so his bump is going down while mine is growing!

So far, he has had morning sickness/nausea and he has been really emotional which isn't like him.

The most strange one is that I've had constipation but no farmer giles wheras he has not had constipation but has got the farmer giles LOL!

at the man who ays his sympathy labour pains were worse than his wifes contractions

i wonder is he still married?

Hopeitwontbebig · 15/06/2007 11:35

I know I know, I thought exactly the same thing. Could you imagine how pee'd off you'd be if you were 'competing' during labour!!!!!!!!!!

i don't think dp would have survived if he'd tried something like that!

Hopeitwontbebig · 15/06/2007 11:50

DH is eating me out of house and home but not putting a single lb on , and he get very hot at night were as I feel fine and with my other 2 PG's I was always hot at night! And we both cant stop eating sweet stuff, ice cream and ice pop's!

There is a known condition men get I believe which is called Couvade and it's like a male pregnancy- some develop morning sickness, weight gain and it's been said that some even get pain whilst their partner has contractions !!!
my mate said her DH put weight on throughout her pregnancy as he was eating and drinking for 2 and had also given up the fags like she had !!

oh bless them, the daft idiots.
My dp did say 'actually honey, I think I'm feeling a bit sick' with my first pregnancy when I was suffering m/s. He also got a bad back in the last trimester when I was suffering there - but he has a reputation among my family for always trying to get in on the act with my illnesses, so none of that was surprising.

mad4girls · 17/06/2007 18:29
