19 weeks after a healthy pregnancy followed by 2 miscarriages. So far so good, just worried as not feeling movement yet! I’m so nervous. Trying to focus on being excited about finding out the sex but nerves whether all is ok are just taking over. Anyone else feeling this?!

I’m really wanting the 20 week scan to arrive now too! I’m at 18 weeks as of yesterday. I guess it’s the waiting to find out baby is developing healthily right? Also I can’t wait to see baby again on the scan 🤭

Aw I feel your pain! Think you’ve sent me replies before! Happy to hear all going well for you.

Yes that’s what I’m trying to focus on, 20 week scan is so much clearer! And can’t wait to tell our little boy! It’s just so hard to keep the positivity up when you’ve had heartbreak in the past! X

I'm really feeling this at the moment. I'm 17 weeks but we have our anomaly scan today. Nuchal measurement was 4.4mm and baby has a cystic hygroma on its neck. Last time they pushed and pushed us to have an amino and I don't want to. So nervous for today.

I know how you feel I'm nearly 18 weeks and really want to get to 20 weeks to see the scan and know everything is ok.

I haven't had any movement yet but think that is totally normal have you had your 16 week midwife visit? I had one and heard the heartbeat and she has a feel around etc and said everything looked and felt normal.

Good luck at your scan and hope the nerves pass.

@justwantcheesee I’m sorry I haven’t heard of that, what does that mean? Hope everything is ok for you today, sounds like you’ve had some worry. X

@doodles1234 yes he a good listen at 16 weeks then I went back at 18 weeks for another listen to keep me sane. I have no rational reason to stress this time other than my last 2 miscarriages. Everything is going well so far. But every ache and pain is driving me crazy with worry. All sorts of tummy pains the last couple of days, I’m sure it’s a digestive thing!! Ugh overactive mind!!!! X

Thanks @Embobolina88. We have been given a 1:5 chance of downs/Edwards/pataus syndrome or other chromosomal abnormalities and the same chance of structural abnormality. I just want it over and done with I'm dreading it. Thinking of you all too!

Embobolina88 · 18/10/2018 10:07

@justwantcheesee they’re not the results anyone hopes for, you must be worried. I don’t know much about Edwards etc and this is probably no help whatsoever but my auntie had Down’s syndrome and she was just fabulous. Hope you come out of today’s scan with some positive news, please let me know how you get on. X

I am feeling exactly the same! I have my 20wk scan next Wednesday and I'm a complete bag of nerves and anxiety. I fact I have just sat and had a little cry over what 'may' or 'may not' be found next week! I have been having movements but its so inconsistent sometimes it's a real wriggle bum then all goes quiet with just a flick here and there. I know its early for regular movement but it's still scary. Hope all goes well for everyone 😘😘
