I have a weird feeling, groin is sore on both sides. Hips feel odd ie I can feel them (very aware of hip bone etc) and this feeling is going into my lower back as well.

Any suggestions as to what it could be?? Could it just be added pressure due to baby getting bigger or should I bother my midwife. Don't want to become a pregnant paranoid pain.

sounds like baby stretching and getting comfy. your hips and ribs widen during pg to accomodate baby

Could be SPD

See your midwife, beause you can get physio etc.

I feel for you, I had it in both pregnancies. Does it hurt more when your legs are aparl, like when you get out of the car etc?

I don't think it it hurts anymore when my legs are apart. When I stand up it seems to be abit more sore.

I think I will give my midwife a ring and see.

Have spoken to MW and she said it could be the start of SPD but it would be starting early on.

Lets hope it is as lissie suggests and just baby. Bump has grown alot over last week.

Cupcake28,

I am 29wks and felt like this from about 24wks to about 28wks, i think it was a mixture of streching and baby moving.

Now the pain has mostly gone but i have gone from just looking fat to having a pregnant bump iykwim.

lizziemun thats interesting because like I said baby has grown alot in the last week and my bump has definatley sprouted.

I hope your right I would obviously prefer not to have SDP.
