Psychic predictions - any truth in them??

Has anyone been told by a psychic how many children they will have/ what sexes they will be? And, if yes, have the predictions come true?....

Ermmmm..I was told by a gypsy in Granada that I would have two children and she pointed at my tummy...unbeknownst to me, I was actually pregs at the time...make of that what you will....

mmmmm interesting! I know it is a bit of an odd question but a so-called psychic friend of MIL told her me and DH would have two daughters and the thought has played on my mind ever since. Probably a lot of balony but you never know...

A psychic told me that within a year i'd leave my dp and move abroad with a middle aged divorcee. That was about 6 years ago.

All that year I reacted suspiciously to middle aged men.

Aww thanks Nikki! I know I'm probably a little overly neurotic but I figure if I get all the daft questions and concerns answered now by all you lovely MNers I'll be chilled and relaxed about the whole thing come next year!

Hi Cosmogirl,

My Mom's close friend fancies herself psychic. She's also got a PhD in Psychology, has raised a great family, etc, not some whacko with tarot cards on the beach.

She told my mom that I was about to meet the man I would marry and that it would happen within the next month. I met him two weeks later. Then she said we'd be pregnant right away and that it would be a girl. Actually, she said twin girls but I guess it's possible I lost one as I did bleed for five or six straight weeks from week five.

I am having a girl.

Most recently she said that I will go into labor about ten days early.

What do you think? :0

oooo I hope I don't post the first one. I'm a bit of a sick a phobic. Might have to get in with the emetophobia gang if morning sickness gets me - I've already seen that there are a few fellow emetophobes about!

Oooo interesting - I have to admit that I love stuff like this DivaSkyChick. I think it is maybe because I like to believe in fate and that there is a path set out for us and the number/sexes of our children (if we have any) is pre-determined.

I can't say I'm all that convinced about fate but I'm hoping that if I kinda believe I'll be ten days early, could be a self fullfilling prophecy?

On the other hand, as long as she's INSIDE me, I know what to do for her. Sooner she's here, sooner I'm posting on the BF boards for help! At least inside me she's quiet!

Well good luck with the rest of the pregnancy - you must be so excited but also terrified at the same time. Can't really imagine it but hopefully I'll get to experience those feelings at some point in the future.

a psychic told me i would have a baby boy
(i just didnt beleiveit never wanted kids dismissed it as rubbish..
and i did..about 3 years later..

But
she also said iwould callhim brian ..

..and er no i didnt!

she was good though,accurate in other stuff and people..

Nah it's weird even though I'm thinking about baby stuff far more than is probably normal the thought of getting prego now still scares me. I'm thinking that when I imagine the scenario and I don't feel the fear that it will be time to go for it....I'm over thinking it again aren't I??!

My DH has a recording of a reading he had years and years ago. He was had recently split up with his partner. The psychic told him that he'd meet a much younger lady (me) who loved the countryside and that he'd have another child (OK she said daughter, we eventually had a son). Actually that prediction about another child kept me going through years of ttc.

Its always scary! When the line went blue for me I nearly fell off the toilet with shock!!! Had moments of sheer panic in the pregnancy and feeling 'its to late to turn back now'...all perfectly normal! It is a massive life change after all but.....

Soooooooo worth it!!!

A palm reader in India told me I'd have 5 kids.

Then again he also told me I should leave my job and marry a 'happy shopkeeper'.

I'm 34 and pregnant with my first child so i have some work to do....so does my mate. He told her the same thing!
