Has anyone tried self inducing and what techniques worked?

There’s a lot of stuff on the internet but would like to hear of your own experiences.

Honestly? None of it works. Unless you are being induced medically the baby will come when it’s ready.

I found the best way to get a baby out is the same way it got in......

I agree with PP. I honestly think that if people have gone into labour after say, sex or a curry or whatever it's coincidence. If your body isn't ready, baby isn't budging!

That being said, my midwife told me that sperm has a tiny amount of the hormone that they use to induce contained in it which is why they recommend it when you're overdue but, it is a tiny amount so it's unlikely to have a massive effect.

Good luck with Abby

Good luck with baby * sorry!

I doubted that any of it works but was interested to see if anyone had tried. I’m happy to wait until he’s ready but definitely trying to get my partner on board with ‘helping’ Grin haha
Definitely fed up and still at work until Friday but not long to go x

Time. Other than medical intervention, that's it.
