What happens after I send it off to HR?

Ive sent it down with a form stating the dates Id like to be off from and until when, but nobody knows what happens now?

Do i get a letter back or an email confirming? Will I find out what ill be paid when im off?
Oh so many questions xx

I can only go on my experience, but I sent my off with quite a detailed list of when I was going on Matt, what pay I was expecting etc and then a week or so later I did get a letter back from HR basically confirming everything (dates, money, holiday pay etc).
I would chase them up if you haven't heard anything in a week or so.
