Hardly showing at 20 weeks

Hi all, excuse the PJs...

I'm almost 20 weeks pregnant with my first child and yet I think my bump looks tiny! Anyone else think so?

I'm fairly tall (5'9") and all scans have shown baby is fine so I'm not worried, but I was hoping I'd have an obvious bump by now Grin If I'm wearing clingy clothes I look pregnant, but if not I just look like I've put a bit of chub on Grin

Don't stress. I told work around 21 weeks and everyone was shocked because they couldn't tell.

You have a Lovely Bump !
I didn't show till 6.5 months on Both of Mine!
Then it just Popped and I seemed to Get bigger and Bigger by the day!

Congratulations

Ooh you have such a lovely bump! No doubt you'll 'pop' soon enough. You also seem to have a long Torso.

I'm 9w with #2 and have a little bump already Hmm Grin

I went out to dinner with a group of friends at 22 weeks pregnant. None of them could tell (all Mums I met from groups with DS1). They were visibly shocked when I told them - I was still in my normal tops, but maternity bottoms.
DS2 was 8lb. Bump was small all the way through compared to others I knew.

CobaltRose96 · 16/10/2018 11:42

Thanks everyone! Same as me @Dunes, I've had to wear maternity bottoms for a couple of weeks now as my normal ones are too tight, but I can still fit into regular tops.

I was just like that bump wise at 20 weeks! Only really got a convincing bump at 30 weeks and even now it's not huge, I was dying to get a bump but now I hate it and I'm really uncomfortable 😂😂

pastabest · 16/10/2018 11:43

I passed as just a bit chubby until about 30 weeks with DC1 and 26 weeks with DC2

Hannahlouise4026 · 16/10/2018 11:46

Looks normal to me, very similar to how I was with my second at 21 weeks, I didn’t really pop until past 24 with both.

ChocolateChipMuffin2016 · 16/10/2018 11:57

I was about 6 months when I started looking pregnant with my first. I just looked fat (fatter) before that.

chloechloe · 16/10/2018 14:46

You’ve got a lovely bump! Yes it’s little but it’s nothing to worry about. I only told work at 23-24w with all 3 of mine and nobody had noticed.

E20mom · 16/10/2018 14:54

Totally normal for your first. No one at work noticed I was pregnant until I announced it at 6 1/2 months.

EspressoPatronum · 16/10/2018 14:55

I think tall people tend to show less... More room top to bottom so baby doesn't have to poke out as much!

VioletPickles · 16/10/2018 14:57

I think you look great. Don't worry, bump will come. Having said that I gave birth at 25 weeks and most people didn't even know I was pregnant I was so small!

Lilbear14 · 16/10/2018 19:22

My mum went on maternity leave when she was pregnant with me and she didn't tell anyone she was pregnant and noone believed her that she was going on maternity as she wasn't showing.😂😂 I'm the opposite. I'm a balloon when I'm pregnant.

Liverbird77 · 16/10/2018 19:41

I am 5'11", with a long torso. It's taken a while but I am 29 weeks now and I have a big bump. Yours will come in the next few weeks.
