When will I get blood results back?

Had bloods taken last week a day before 10 weeks and I'm not seeing my midwife until 16 weeks. She took four vials I think, but does anyone know when I'll be getting the results for these back?

Hey, normally within a week. They advised me they only contact you if something is wrong and I am based in wales. Hope that helps xc

My midwife told me that if I don't hear anything in a week or two they are fine. It depends how busy the labs are really.

I never got the results because there was nothing of note in them iyswim. They were just added into my notes at my 16 week appointment.

My midwife said she would call as if anything was flagged up it would need to be dealt with asap.

Yeah your midwife will call you if any problems. Usually we say within 10 working days.

I got a letter to tell me I was Rhesus Neg but I think they call if anything is majorly wrong.
If all is fine, they usually give them to you at 16 weeks and put them in your notes.

If something shows in the bloods they will contact you, otherwise you'll just be told all clear at your 16 week appointment xx

I just found mine in the back of my maternity notes. They only tell you about them if they pick something up that needs treated
