BFP when did you tell DH?

I’ve just had a surprising bfp 12 dpo this afternoon and am wondering whether to tell DH straight away, did you? I cannot see why I wouldn’t tbh but I feel like maybe I should retest in a few days. I have no idea what the risks of chemicals etc are.

I told my dh straight away. He was delighted and if it had all gone wrong I'd need his support. I say tell him :)

I couldn’t have kept it from my DH if I’d tried 😂

He came downstairs about half an hour after I’d tested and I burst into tears so he knew 😂 they were happy tears, by the way 😂

Straight away all 3 times. Even if it was chemical I’d still want him to know (and he’d want to know)

Almost immediately! This pregnancy (DC2), I found out just before we were going out for a boozy dinner... I tried to wait to tell him at the meal, but I was shaking and couldn’t think straight to pick an outfit, so I ended up telling him after about 5 minutes!

Both pregnancies I’ve tested on a whim without telling him I’m about to test... both times he’s been annoyed I found out before him
