Anyone done Babybond antenatal classes?

.... just wondering what you think of them. Can't see at the moment what the advantages are over NCT classes. They seem to be taught by NCT teachers (mainly) and cover the same topics. The Babybond classes being advertised round here cost nearly twice as much as the NCT intensive courses (for the two day course - one day labour and birth and the other day postnatal/parenting) and as far as I can see the only difference is that the Babybond ones are taught in swanky venues plus you get a free lunch. Not sure I'd want to fork out an extra £200 for that....... Any feedback welcome!

Well they're a total con - the company has just gone bust and are not refunding any money OR offering any the classes that they've paid for. We're £300 out of pocket with no antenatal classes booked and our baby is due at the start of September. Babybond scans still seem to be trading though... As far as I'm concerned it's no better than theft as they must've known that their company was in trouble when they took my booking two weeks ago.

Sotheran - did you pay by credit card for the course? if so you should get it back on your credit card insurance? I also paid for a course with them 2 weeks before they went bust but am getting refund through credit card.....

Nope I put it on my switch card - stupid looking back but I really thought that the company was genuine due to the Babybond name. I did ring my bank but it took them a long time to understand what i was talking about - they've lodged a 'dispute' but it won't come to anything.
I've just found out today that we've got a place on an NCT course :-)
