I've got awful spots all on one side of my face, some are painful under the skin, cystic type acne and the others on the surface.

Been using sudocrem at night but not much help. I have oily to normal skin.

Looking for products that may help! Not super expensive and safe for pregnancy

Can anyone help?

Oh dear, this is awful! I’ve been opposite to u have terrible acne that’s cleared up in pregnancy. I’ve always used dermalogica BUT go in and talk to one of the reps, some things can’t be used in pregnancy and some only in moderation but u might find the face wash is enough to help u a lot. Good luck it’s an awful thing to suffer from.

I love Clinique anti-blemish solution range! It's not cheap but used twice daily, was really effective!

Nothing worked for me. I had it terribly for the duration of the first trimester, it was the worst my skin had been for years. I tried everything imaginable but honestly all that worked was reaching the second trimester.

Not a lot worked for me in terms of skincare, but I bought an aloe Vera plant and used the gel from the leaves, so soothing and gives the skin a protective layer I found x

I had this in my first trimester, all over my chin it was awful. I stopped wearing makeup and I use Dove soap only to wash my face and I put Germolene antiseptic cream on. It didn't go down straight away but I could definitely see an improvement. I have since only wore makeup if i am going to a special occasion because as soon as I started wearing it again they came straight back. I still get the odd spot but nothing as bad as the awful under the skin really painful cystic spots.

Thanks for your replies. I should probably stop wearing make up but I just can't face going out with all these horrible angry red bumps on show 😩 looks so awful, worse than anything I had as a teen!

Will try and have a few make up free days a week. Have heard good things about vitamin E cream so will try that

The Vichy noraderm worked for me!

Go to your GP and ask to be prescribed something safe to use in pregnancy. I've been using a product called zineryt and it's worked for me. My acne was awful from about 6/7 weeks

I had it terribly on my jawline but it started to ease by 16 week. I'm now 23 and my skin is clear again.

I double cleanse twice a day, pixi glow tonic and clarins double serum.. morning and night- keeps my skin in check.

Me too! I’ve always had oily/acne prone skin anyway. It got awful in the second trimester. Since I’ve started to use Mama Mio balancing facial wash my skin has cleared up. It’s better than it was before I fell pregnant! Wish I knew about it years ago and could have cleared my skin a long time ago. It’s a bit expensive but it defo works in my opinion! Good luck
