Flu like symptoms at 38 weeks a sign of early labour?

Morning Everyone,

I am 39 weeks pregnant today and for the last 3 or so hours I've had flu like symptoms. My hands and legs are like dead-weights, I feel faint and light headed. Everything that comes with a cold except the runny nose/cough itself.

For the last couple of weeks I've had an upset stomach (sorry) and the odd pain in the belly but nothing too concerning. This is my second pregnancy, I was induced at 37 weeks with my first so did not have early labour symptoms.

Have you heard if his could be the start of something?

Sorry, I'm 39 weeks today^

Flu like symptoms for me was the first sign of pre-eclampsia. Also did t have rummy nose or anything. I would call midwife this morning first thing.

Thank you for your reply, I'll give my midwife a ring. I was induced with my first due to preeclampsia. I was last checked for it 2 weeks ago. Thanks.
