Hello,

I'm 24 weeks pregnant and generally haven't had an easy pregnancy- lots of sickness etc. I have been experiencing heart palpitations since day one pretty much, something I have had checked at the doctors obviously and nothing sinister. However they are starting to get worse again, particularly noticeable at night along with shortness of breath- my breathing feels like it suddenly gets quite rapid which in turn can make me feel light headed. I think I start to panic too which makes it worse. At the beginning of my pregnancy, before I even knew I was expecting I was having panic attacks which was very out of character, turns out it was all hormone induced.
Just want to know if anyone else had experienced similar problems that could perhaps make me feel a little better?!
Many thanks!

If the baby turns to a position where it’s pressing on your lungs, you can be breathless because of not being able to inflate your lungs fully. I had a big baby and was pretty breathless by the end.

Have you had your iron checked? I had the same at about that point as well as being knackered, sure enough I'm anemaic. 29 weeks now and on 2 tablets a day although my iron had dropped again at my 28 week check Sad
