Has anyone been to one of these and is it worth it?
From what I can see on the website, it’s just a series of talks on prams, nursery furniture etc.
I’m torn between cynicism that they’ll just be using it as a chance to flog stuff nobody really needs and thinking we might as well go to find out more as dd and I are pretty clueless.

Hi, we went to one today actually and found it really useful. The talks were all quite short, all offering other courses such as first aid, swimming etc. The rest of the time we spent getting advice on prams/pushchairs and car seats. The lady that helped us was really informative while taking into account our needs and more importantly our budget! We ended up ordering our pram/pushchair as it was on sale! 😘

I went, ignored all the talks, picked up my welcome pack with a 10% voucher and went upstairs to buy my pushchair.

Thanks, I’ve booked us in for Wednesday, plus one at Mamas and Papas next month.
Dd likes the Mothercare Journey and I know she’ll want (me) to buy it, despite my pleas to wait till the new year sales...
