You're not alone, I was terrified and I didn't have your history either. I bawled when he came up on the screen and they said everything was ok - seriously howled with crying!!!

Totally normal, I was a nervous wreck before mine! I was so scared I started crying in the room before I was even scanned. I saw so many similar posts on here too. Good luck for your scan x

I'm sorry to hear about your previous miscarriage Flowers luckily I have never had to go through the trauma of one but even still every single scan or midwife appointment I get nervous beforehand, I honestly think the minute you find out you are pregnant it's just a life of worry about your child ahead 😂 I'm sure all will be fine though, enjoy seeing your little one Smile

Totally normal when things have gone wrong in the past. Good luck.

You're definitely not alone. I was the exact same for my 12 week scan.
I relaxed a lot more after the lovely scan, but the anxiety is creeping back a bit now I have my 20 week scan on Friday!
This whole pregnancy malarkey has been such a huge mix of excitement, happiness, tiredness and anxiety for me!

I was very nervous. No history of MC. My parents had driven 4 hours to come with me and I was so worried I had made the whole thing up completely. I hadn’t considered an MC just thought I’d imagined the lines- I was a sick as a dog though!

At my last scan, I wad crying so much they couldn't see anything and had to tell me to calm down Blush.

I felt like this. I was so scared of a missed miscarriage that my teeth were chattering. It's normal I think, although I could tell the difference in the waiting room between the Googlers of terrible things with pale faces vs those who were just assuming all was fine.

I'm sorry to hear of your previous loss.

I share your nervousness. I have my 12 week scan tomorrow and am extremely apprehensive. I don't have any history of miscarriage but am almost 40 so just worried.

Good luck to you for Friday x

No history of MC, I had a very healthy pregnancy with my son but honestly I now think instead "why do I deserve to be this lucky twice". I have my 12 week scan on the 25th and I feel sick at the thought of it and I know on the day I will spend the whole day being sick. It's horrendous. We just have to get through it 💖💖💖 sending love xxxx
