It's just not fair!!

Lately i cant eat as much as i used to be able to and so trying to come to terms with having smaller portions takes some doing!

This means that i'm gonna have to stop being a greedy cow now and it's just not on!!

Hmph!!

Yours lovingly,

A very stuffed (and slightly sick feeling) RGPargy (16+2).

Although I'm doing smaller portions I'm doing twice as many, currently scarfing down a scone, thinking of a Chinese Curry for tea & will decide on snacks to accompany ER around 6'ish. I am currently starting eating around 5.30am when I wake, no sense in lying in bed hungry when you can't sleep BTW still haven't put on any weight, you hate me don't you!

Welcome to my world!

I love my food, but now 16+3 and I too am eating silly kid sized portions and feeling sick afterwards!

grrrrr

RGPargy · 14/06/2007 16:35

I hardly ate at all yesterday, just a bit of bread here and there and felt fine. I really am trying to kid myself that i need to stuff my face. Perhaps some chocolate will help me feel better.....

see, im off choccy completely. DH bought me 2 bags of maltesers last friday - finished the first bag last night after it being open for 5 days!

I usually eat far too much, far too much of the wrong things, and my portion sizes are usually huge. I've managed to curb it in the last year or so and lost two stone, so finding being pregnant very disturbing for my appetite.

My MS is usually triggered by not having eaten anything in the last hour or so, and I absolutely hate having to eat constantly (it also seems like only the bad foods fill me up - apples and bananas won't work!)

I've had the day off work today and spent most of it (until nearly 4pm - I'm such a slob!) laying in bed reading which meant I didn't eat anything, and I absolutely loved it. I honestly feel like I'm detoxing, not eating anything for 18 hours.

I think the worst aspect of it is my brain and my stomach thinking different things. I still want the same foods as before I was pregnant, but my stomach just objects. can't stand curry, meat, chilli, in fact most of the foods I used to eat before! Often I'll open a packet of crisps that I wolfed down the day before, only to find that I really don't want to eat it.

Husband on the other hand is getting rather tubby eating all my leftovers

RGPargy · 14/06/2007 20:56

Well i've just managed to stuff almost a whole 10 inch pizza to myself without feeling overly stuffed or sick. That's worrying!!

I also went off everything i wanted to eat, including meat and anything remotely vegetable-like. It was junk food only for me and i'm desperately trying to get back to eating healthily.

I'm doing alot better than i WAS a few weeks ago, so that's a start!!

Went for chilli chicken for tea & it was fab, only ate half but it means I have the other half for tomorrow evening. DD had as big a portion of cantonese chicken as I ate & she's only 5 & thin as a rake, in fact she ate more prawn crackers. Managed to scoff some pretzels & dip tho with full stength Pepsi later so that'll do me till the wee small hours. I'll make the effort to do healthy tomorrow, although I was only an apple short of my 5 a day today but it just looked at me menacingly from the fruit bowl so I snubbed it.

Don't worry...in the third trimester you'll make up for all those small healthy portions and survive only on cake. Or is that just me?
