Hey i hope everyones well :).
I'll try and keep it short! Over the past week ive had some tightening around my bump (sometimes painful, but mostly not), im aware this can be braxton hicks/ligaments so im not particularly worried, baby has also seemed to drop (which from what i have read is not unusual either).

This is my second pregnancy (first one 4yo boy carried to 40+4 simple and straightforward), however with this one it was twins, twin one had died at 18 weeks (discovered at 20w scan, chest small for gestation) and has settled at the bottom, is there any chance this could be causing more pressure since the surviving one dropped, and should i be contacting the midwives with this even though theres no significant patterns as it stands? Any advice would be great, particularly if anyone has had similar experiences, thanks Smile

I’m sorry for your loss OP Flowers

It doesn’t sound like anything too worrying but as your pregnancy is a complex one my advice would be to play it safe and talk to your midwife.

My Braxton-Hicks kicked in around 26-27 weeks and did make me quite nervous at first as they seemed to start quite suddenly but all was fine.
