I am 35+4days and for the last two days have had dizzyness.. and quite painfult BH front and back.. my lower back keeps going crazy.. Had BP checked yesterday, slightly raised but nothing to wqorry about, had some ketones and nitrates in urine too.. so could have a mild infection.. (only a trace of bnoth..)

Just dont feel quite right.. really restless.. and nesting is starting to hit big time.. just keep looking around and wanting to do everything.. (but cant be nothered to tired to do anything..)
This is my 3rd baby..

I know it is probably normal aches and pains... of being heavily pg also little one keeps bouncing up and down.. I am sure he keeps engaging and disengaging.. as bump keeps dropping then a while later shoots back up .. then drops a gain....

Hi Twoplusone

Well, I could have written your post! I am in between 36 and 37 weeks and feel exactly as you describe! Really can't believe that I will last another 4 weeks. This is number 3 for me too and the braxton hicks and lower back pains come all the time. (Or it certainly feels like it)! I have also experienced being a little dizzy but I think this is because I have fairly low blood pressure - if it's not one thing it is another!

At my last midwife appointment, she said that the baby was partially engaged which I suppose is a good thing. Although, the pressure is quite intense and I need to wee constantly which is nice!!!

As for nesting, I really have the urge to make everything 'just so' - but it is all such hard work with a lovely big bump in the way! Good Luck with everything! x

marchbunny- with you on the weeing front too.....

the BH are near enough constant.. have noticed them more this afternoon too.. esp in lower back..

Looks like we are in for a storm here.. which is nice should clear the air.. meaning I may be able to cool down abit..

Good luck hun.xx

Braxton Hicks and trying to walk anywhere really don't mix!!! They can really take your breath away.

Oooo it is getting exiting, although I need to get this weekend out of the way before giving birth - getting my hair cut and coloured tomorrow (highly important)and off to a family wedding on Saturday!!! Am taking all baby stuff with me, just in case.

Weather is really sticky - would love a storm to cool it all down a bit. x

Hi Twoplusone - I'm starting to feel a bit nervous that things might happen sooner rather than later (am 35+4) Had a restless night last night with back aches and BHs on and off.... And pressure on bladder has increased (as if my bladder could be any more squashed than it already is!) On top of this, DP is away for Tues & Weds and then Fri & Sat next week, plus the plumber comes on Tuesday to turn the kitchen upside down for a week. So chances are I'll go into labour just as DP disappears and the plumber disconnects the kitchen sink.... nervous

Sorry, haven't been on the July antenatal thread for ages, too hard to keep up with everyone, but hope you have been well
