AF 4 Days Late, BFN. Anyone?

Hi ladies,

Have asked this question with no response on the Conception board so thought I'd try here, where you've all become pregnant! Congratulations by the way.

As the title suggests, AF is now 4 days late and I'm still getting negative tests. Has anyone else had this and what was the outcome?

I miscarried last year but over the last 7 months or so my cycle has been 27 days on the nose, so this seems out of the ordinary. I feel like I'm getting symptoms, tiredness, a little nausea and also a really grumbly stomach (not sure why that is, but it's different to normal). Not sure if I'm overthinking things or not though.

I'd be grateful to hear anyone's experiences, positive or not.

Thanks

I had to go to hospital for some bleeding at 4+3 or 4 after finding out at 4+1. I got a negative on a urine test there, then really low hcg on a blood test.

16 weeks now, all fine. The doctors I spoke to said it could have been earlier than I thought but my dating scan confirmed I was right, just had very low levels at the start.

Good luck!

Lots of things can make your period late. Are you under more stress than usual? New diet? New exercise? Etc.

& the symptoms of early pregnancy are the same as those you get right before your period because both are caused by rising progesterone.

This happened to me when we were ttc and it turned out to be caused by some long haul flights that month messing up my cycle.

But have you tried a first response test? They're more sensitive/accurate.

Congrats @lambdroid, our bodies are funny things aren't they? The unknown is just so hard.

@LittleKitty1985 I wouldn't say I've been doing anything differently over the last cycle than before, although I do understand that cycles can vary, it just seems odd as they've been so regular before.
I did a First Response early detect one yesterday as the previous ones I'd used were internet ones.
