Had quite a lot of BH's from early on with ds2's pregnancy. Been feeling them for the last few days with this pregnancy, but today they are really quite uncomfortable, and frequent. They are not contractions- I'm pretty much certain they are just BH's.

I have most definitely been overdoing it- and will continue to- an autistic 5 year old and a lively 2 year old don't really leave me with much choice. We've also just arrived back from a horrendous 15 hour drive a few days ago and my back is shot to pieces (so I've been walking a bit strangely!)

I'll have a bath tonight, and am seeing the mw next Tuesday. I have a tendency to ignore this sort of stuff and assume it's nothing but just wondering whether I should ring someone before then if they continue. Going in for monitoring will be all but impossible until ds1 is back at school next Thursday (would be impossible to take him with me) so I only want to have to go in if I really have to iyswim.

I've read some of the past messages and early BH seem fairly common, so hoping someone will agree its safe to ignore.

I had loads of BH with my second pregnancy from about 20 weeks on. If they don't stop after a warm bath, then call the midwife. This was always the advice I was given. Hope they stop soon -- mine were really uncomfortable and made me grumpy.

cheers- I had a bath last night then sat down and watched lord of the rings- so a 3 hour sofa stint. They calmed down and have been hardly noticeable today :) Thank you!
