I had a fluttering sensation from around 18 weeks, now getting strong kicks at 22 weeks. I was a bit late to the game due to having a (large according to sonographer) anterior placenta.

Hope you feel baby soon, it's a pretty awesome experience 😍

14 weeks with my first but it was 17 weeks before it could say it was definitely that. 16 weeks with this one but have an anterior placenta this time.

snoopy18 · 11/10/2018 19:37

I’m not sure if I felt it a while ago since many say it could be gas haha but I’m at 17 weeks and it’s definately not gas I don’t think. Felt baby again this morning 3 times. It’s weird!

Nothisispatrick · 11/10/2018 19:39

18 weeks I think, or around that.

OneShawn · 11/10/2018 20:02

17 weeks for me but my placenta is at the back

NotDoingThat · 11/10/2018 20:07

I'm almost 20w with my first and starting to have some sensations that are suspicious- but still not sure!

Pebblespony · 11/10/2018 20:13

It took me absolutely weeks to identify movements rather than just gas and to be honest, I'm still not sure which they were. I'd say I was a good 22 weeks till I could definitely say 'That was a kick'.

Notquiteagandt · 11/10/2018 20:23

14weeks for flutters then about 19weeks for what felt more like kicks. Now 21w and can play guess the body part and see my bump move and have done for week or 2.

My 1st so unsure why it was super early. I lost so much weight in 1st tri though thanks to HG so think that helped.

Celebelly · 11/10/2018 20:29

I felt 'something' at 18/19 weeks but thought it might be gas. From 20 onwards it was clear it was movements I was feeling, and this last week (I'm just about to hit 23 weeks) they've gotten a lot stronger.

Stephisaur · 11/10/2018 21:58

Flutters at 12 weeks, turned into proper movements at 19 weeks and have been getting stronger ever since! Think he’s going to punch his way out some days 😂

This is my first pregnancy x

16 weeks - depends massively on your BMI and where the placenta is. Mines posterior and high up so baby is very easy to feel!

thismeansnothing · 11/10/2018 22:09

With my first I had flutters/bubbles around 14/15 weeks

This time only starting to get themnow at 20 weeks but found out I have anterior placenta which explains the lateness

MissMini · 12/10/2018 15:23

I had flutters at the start of my 17th week but now I’m in week 18 and not felt much since the initial flutters, now I’m thinking it was something else or I imagined it! I know baby is ok though as was at midwife yesterday and heard heartbeat. I think it’s really different for everyone - I hope to feel him moving more soon!

Vuduvu · 12/10/2018 18:03

15+2 started to feel something like muscle twitches which got stronger and turned into definite movements. Quite early I think but I know from scans that my placenta is high up at the back.

DramaAlpaca · 12/10/2018 18:06

18 weeks with DC1, 16 weeks with DC2, 14 weeks with DC3.

I think the reason I felt my subsequent babies earlier was because I knew what it was, no doubt about it.

Ohyesiam · 12/10/2018 18:08

20 weeks with the first, about 17 with the second.

katie23913 · 12/10/2018 21:19

I'm 23 weeks, I started feeling flutters at around 19 weeks, I wasn't sure at first what they were but now there is no mistaking them as kicks. I have started seeing my belly move too and my boyfriend just felt the baby kick for the first time tonight 😊
