what do the ingredients say?
if it contains camphor you should not take it when pregnant.
can you get a saline nasal spray from the chemist?

if it gets really bad ask gp for advice.

Hey @SLP88 I've got a terrible cold as well. Saw my midwife on Monday for my 16 week appointment, she said not to take anything other than paracetamol and rest. Really frustrating.

Decongestants are generally to be avoided, but you could try with just the steam. I feel for you, I had this last week. I did get a honey and lemon tincture thing from boots advised by the pharmacist to help with a sore throat but couldn't really take much else.

Doesn't have that it in. I have used saline sprays for last 3 days as could feel it coming on but didn't do anything to help x

I don’t think you can use olbas oil in pregnancy.

Thanks for the replies ladies

I have put the olbas oil down the sink for now until I can talk to doctor/midwife. I wish paracetamol and rest would cut it.
