Hello, I would love some advice. I am 6 weeks pregnant and have shingles. Quite a bad case of it as I have been prescribed acyclovir- 400mg 5 x day. I have started taking it, but worried of the side affects it may have on my baby as it’s so early on In my pregnancy. A virologist and my GP said there is nothing to worry about. But, I can’t help but panic.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
