Hello ladies i am new to the site ttc 1 im 29 and had my implant removed beginning of July, was on the pill for a week then came off it so been officially ttc end of July with no luck yet 😕i started taking pregnacare 2 weeks ago to improve my chances, last week was my fertile week and had sex every other day. had sex last night when i went to the toilet i saw i was lightly spotting after sex? could this be implantation bleed im guessing its too early as I believe i ovulated on Friday?I am due on end of next week. has anyone experienced this, really hoping this month is our moth 🙏🏼🤞🏼good luck to all you ladies xxx

Welcome to the site :)

It can take up to a year to get pregnant after coming off birth control. The doctor typically wouldn’t investigate before that.

For now, I’d say you’re doing all you can do :) if you hop over to the conception board (still under the becoming a parent topic), the women there are very knowledgeable about all aspects TTC :)

Good luck with your journey :)

It took me exactly 1 year. Had just been to doctors and started tests when it happened.

Just try to relax, I know it’s easier said than done but we conceived just after we go back from holiday & I honestly think that being so relaxed helped.

We used the smep plan too which you can find out about online.

Good luck !

Good luck OP, as PP said i know it sounds total cliche and its easier said than done but try to relax. I was 13 months off the pill and 10 cycles of properly trying, timing sex, temping, ovulation sticks etc when i fell pregnant. We were totally stressing ourselves out about the whole thing so decided to have a couple of months off thinking about it and then book GP appointment if still nothing (we're farmers and it was a really busy time on the farm so quite easy to distract ourselves with other things) then hey presto fell pregnant, i'm convinced it was because we chilled and didn't think about it.

P.s we were 29 and 31 years old, both fit and healthy, normal BMIs and no reason for ttc to take long so it is totally normal to take a while.

thank you Merrz! that is re assuring I think i need to stop stressing and relax its all i seem to think about though Confused Before the implant I was on the pill for a few years stopped taking it and within 2 months I fell pregnant but unfortunately couldnt go through with it due to the circumstances so im guessing the implant may have a part to play in taking a little longer this time! I guess it will happen when its mesnt to Smile

It's really difficult isn't it, that's what i was like, it was completely consuming my life i couldn't think about anything else and i was planning things around the potential that i might be pregnant by then. I will definitely be taking a more chilled approach next time.
