Hey Everyone,

I am currently 32+5 weeks pregnant
Had a growth scan yesterday and have been told that baby is measuring on the 90th percentile already and est weight of 5lbs 10oz so far (I know that this is just an estimate and the weight thing is very innacurate!) and that their head is very very low down (they struggled to scan the head because it was really low down) but haven't said that the baby is engaged yet but a very healthy happy baby!

Over the past few hours, I have been getting a sharp shooting pain down the right side of my bump and a lot of cramping in my pelvis too.

I guess my question is, have any of you experienced anything similar within regards to the growth scans and the head being so low down so early I am starting to worry that I may go into labour earlier and are the sharp shooting pains normal for this stage of a pregnancy? xx

I m now 39 weeks but I had this around 33 weeks, it's just baby lying on your nerves and and pushing down on your pelvis, it doesn't get better I m.afraid xx

My baby is permanently head down! They struggle to measure his head at every scan.

He was 3lb 130z at my 28 week scan and has rocketed above the 90th centile as a result. He is expected to be a big baby.

The pains you describe sound like nerve pains. Nothing to worry about, but nothing you can do either I'm afraid! You may find baby pushes his head down fully into your pelvis at times. This will feel like someone has kicked you between the legs.

The joys of pregnancy!
