Hello, I’m not sure if anyone will respond but I had a scan a couple of weeks ago and was told I was having twins, I was currently 9 weeks then and I’m now 11 weeks, I was told they share a single sac and on my notes the person doing the scan has put MA/MC which I’m pretty sure is meant to say MC/MA because I can’t find any information on MA/MC, after a lot of research it seems as though this type of pregnancy is risky and quite rare.. I’m feeling a little deflated and upset as I’m not sure what to think.. I’m just hoping to read some other peoples stories, thank you

Hi, I had twins in 2015. I was told they were MCMA until they found a separating membrane at 16 weeks, which was a huge relief. It is quite common to be misdiagnosed early on in the pregnancy. Good luck.
