Positive stories after bleeding in early pregnancy

I need reassurance! Iv3 had lots of spotting. Had a scan a week ago at 7 weeks that showed a heartbeat. More spotting today and yesterday so booked in for another scan on Thurs. I've a bit of cramping and I'm very, very worried. Did this happen to anyone and it was all ok?

I actually thought I was having a super long period that was lasting a month long so I went to the hospital and that’s when I found out I was 5 weeks pregnant. Spotting and light bleeding is extremely common and not a symptom people associate with a normal healthy pregnancy but I am 31 weeks and baby is doing well, just sometimes my cervix gets irritated which causes spotting. The advice I received from the midwife is unless it is enough to soak up a pad within an hour then it is probably normal. If you are rhesus negative you will need an injection every time you bleed just incase.

Just bumped into this thread and have seen a lot of possitive stories. I know I shouldnt put so much into hopes as I have been bleeding heavily for 2 days after 4 days spotting with pelvis cramps. My hcg level is not doubling up either and so far just seen yolksac at close to week 6, no embryo as yet.. All the doctors reckon I will MC (might have since I started my heavy bleed the night before...). Will be back to the hospital to check up tomorrow with not many hopes... I wish I can be on of the past stories in this thread...
