Bloat or baby?

Hi all,

I'm currently 18+3 with my first baby. This is my second pregnancy, though (suffered a MMC at 12 weeks back in April).

I'm tall (5'9") and normally fairly slim (size 10). I feel like my bump has become a lot more noticeable in the past week or so. I worry that I'm getting a bit too big too soon!

In some clothes I just look a bit chubby but in others I have a definite bump. What do you think? Bloat or baby? Grin

Baby. It's normal - once the baby is to big for the pelvic area for you to suddenly get a noticable bump. From around now your midwife will start measuring your bump but I think you have nothing to worry about.

Bump!

I’m a week behind you with dc2, and there’s a noticeable different between the bloat I had from 6 weeks to the proper bump I got about 2 weeks ago.

Definitely baby - you're very slim (lucky you! :) ) - enjoy it!
