Hi everyone! Saw my midwife today and we had a good chat about any things she has heard are fantastic through word of mouth recommendations. Apparently lots of women she is seeing are buying the ambybaby hammock for the first 6-9 months and everyone raves about how well their babies are sleeping.
I am definitely going to get one over moses basket etc....thought i would share.

If anyone has any first hand experience of this, then let me know

xx

Amby is fab, had it for my third- wish I'd had it for my first 2. After staring lovingly at it for 2 years I am now going to get myself in gear and sell it! I want a grandhild to pass it onto but it's just cluttering the place up, the only thing I'm finding hard parting with!!!!

Mine has been delivered but not set up yet for DS2, due on 6 weeks. Really hope it lives up to reputation as I've heard scuh good things about it

I want one! Not buying anything until I am at least 8 mth PG...just a bit superstitious.

I've got one and I'm really happy with it. IMHO it's not a short cut to a miracle sleeping baby, but it does offer a particular 'boinging' motion which is pretty unique and babies find soothing. dd2 is 16 weeks and sleeps well but she's not one of these mythical 7 - 7 sleepers I hear so much about at the baby clinic

Don't want to pour cold water over this but I have one that has been sitting unused even though we tried it on two different babies....they just would not accept it at all. And Amby have a no returns policy.....

flog it on ebay- it will go for almost full price if it's unused.
