Hi all

Looking for advice as needing to buy a pregnancy pillow but don’t know what is the best one to go for?

I am 18 weeks and 3 days and for the last week I have been waking up on my back and it’s cause pain lasting all day 😭

Should I just go with a cheap one to start with and see how I get on or go for more expensive like dream genii?

Any advise would be great ❤️

Hey, congratulations on your pregnancy ☺️ I ended up buying a cheapie £15 one from amazon and it’s brilliant. I think as long as you have something to wedge you onto your side then it’ll be fine. I also sleep with a pillow between my knees to stop my hips/ back from aching.

I found a v pillow worked for me, and came round the house with me i used to sit with it as well, and was handy after I had the baby for sitting up in bed feeding.

I got mine off eBay for £18. It’s one of the big U shaped ones and is roughly the same size as me. I found this one the best because whichever side I sleep on the pillows there without me having to move it every time I move and also goes under my bump and between my legs without having to use additional pillows.
The boyfriend isn’t as happy with it as I am as it takes up a lot of room in the bed but it’s the only way I’ve got any sleep throughout the pregnancy and I love it!

Also should probably say it would help you because I kept waking up on my back but this stops you rolling onto your back as it goes all the way around you so would be great for you 😊

I've used the Ikea v pillow for £7. I fall asleep with the bump against the middle and half between my knees on my left side and wake up in the same place!

Thanks ladies. I was shattered yesterday so was in mothercare as they were closing last night desperately looking for something, ended up with the dream genii which was reduced to £35 and I just slept from 10-6 without waking up even my partner noticed I was less restless. I feel like I could take on the world today 😂
Let's hope it continues
