Had some blood and now I'm scared! TMI

So I'm about 9 weeks pregnant this is my first pregnancy and when I wiped earlier it was orange, I wiped again and it was red, since then it has faded out, but I'm so so scared!! Is this normal?

This happened to me, bright red blood at 10 weeks and then nothing. I had a scan and everything was fine.
Try not to worry, has there been any more blood? Speak to your midwife/go for reassurance.

@joopy79 I was at the hospital tomorrow and I got a emergency scan in the morning but I'm just so anxious, can't sleep I'm just praying everything is okay xx

I had that too around that stage with my first pregnancy. The doctor said it could be implantation bleeding and/or a small tear/irritation caused by a quickly growing uterus. I now have a healthy one-year-old! For sure get checked out, but a small amount of blood (a couple of wipes) I was told is pretty normal. Rest up! :-)

@HJE17 it hurt when I had sex a week ago and I've been abit sore down there so I'm hopeful it's just a infection, I have a scan at 11am so i will soon find out, thank you for replying xx

Oh no! I’m so sorry. How terrible. The next little while is going to be so shitty... please know that you’re not alone through all this no matter how dark it may feel. A “big hug” from an internet stranger is hardly solace (!) but I do hope that you find a supportive community here and in your real life. x
