My stomach is really aching (rather than being painful), everytime I´m under stress or undertake the least physical exercise. This is pretty much at least half of the time. Is this normal? Worth seeing the doctor for? Please help!!

Is it a bit like a stitch? I had that sort of pain, and it was ligaments stretching. It got quite painful at times, but it did pass.

Not like a stitch, no, and not at really painful as such, more a constant disabling ache. I just want to sit/lie down to make it go away. And why does it only come when I´m stressed? This is why I don´t think it can be the ligaments, especially as I´m not showing at all, therefor no ligaments to stretch?

It may just be related to the stress - in which case you need to find a way to try and relax. However if you are concerned then I would visit your GP. Hopefully they will allay your worries, which would possibly help with the stress anyway.

ligaments are stretching and realxing as is your pelvis, even if bump not showing, there are massive changes going on inside! when you can, lie down on your left side and try to relax

Thanks all, will just mention it at next appointment then..

I get this (am 18 weeks), especially at the top of my bump. I used to get it pre-menstrually as well. I find acupuncture works total wonders, and if you can't get to that, lying on the floor or bed with my legs up the wall really helps relax things. oluck x
