Maternity Skinny Jeans

Went into the city today and had a look around for some maternity skinny’s - I loved the ones at H&M however they were out of my size and online are also out of the size. I’ve emailed them about availability so hoping they’ll get back to me with an update.

Any recommendations for elsewhere?

I saw Dorothy Perkins have them online and they’re on sale - anyone had experiance with theirs?

Any other recommendations welcome.

Thanks!

I’ve got pairs from ASOS and top shop and would recommend the ASOS ones. Plus there’s loads of styles and different lengths so I ordered a massive maternity shop and sent back what I didn’t need. Much less stressful than trying to find a store that actually stocks maternity wear now!

DP under bump great, I lived in them with a bump band... the over bumps were tight and made me feel sick, however I was pleased I had them just after giving birth because they were so comfy once the bump had gone!

I got mine from New Look

@Theseptemberissues I didn’t even think to check ASOS thanks for that it sounds like a good idea! Was it their own branded ones?

@SSRainbow what’s the difference between having the elasticated material vs a band? Did the under bump ones not feel funny when on? My current jeans are making me feel sick so I really need some pants pronto! The ones I tried in H&M today were a jegging style but the bottom by the ankles were loose... the upper bit felt so comfy over the bump elastic. Not sure whether the size I was going to order will be wrong now? I’m usually a 14/16 the ones I tried were 18. Maybe I’m underestimating pregnancy weight gain? Any thoughts?

@AussieMum28 I went into the store and didn’t see any there but saw some online - so frustrating but will have another look now thank you

@snoopy18 yes I did have to buy them online but they fit really well!

MynameisJune · 08/10/2018 19:15

I’d just order your normal size, I’m a 14 and last pregnancy put on 2.5 stone but still stayed in size 14 maternity jeans because it was mainly all bump.

MynameisJune · 08/10/2018 19:15

Oh and I second ASOS that’s where I’m ordering mine from again.

I got mine from Matalan online as they don't have them in the shops. Only £12 or £16 can't remember and I loved them.

snoopy18 · 10/10/2018 07:10

I ended up finding the right size at H&M last night - they are so comfy I’m going to order the other colours in!

@jputthekettleon I tried matalan in store and they didn’t have any here - so bizarre since they do so much kids stuff and different fits for women

Very surprised Primark don’t do anything either ( unless I was totally oblivious and walked past lol!)

@mynameisjune I picked up my normal size so fingers crossed does the job!

ASOS Ridley. They have belt loops so they don't fall down!

Gobletoffire · 10/10/2018 12:56

I got mine from Asda? They go over the bump and are very comfy.

I got some from asos when I was pregnant with DD, I'd say size down as they're kinda on the larger side. I'd reccomend the over the bump ones, I also had some topshop under the bump jeans and they just fell down constantly, so I never wore them and they were expensive too! Plus the over the bump is better for this time of he year, keep your bump nice and warm :)
