I'm just under 17 weeks but already uncomfortable sleeping and getting back/hip pain - can anyone recommend a good pregnancy pillow that won't break the bank?

Hi op, I use a standard V shapes pillow from John Lewis (you can get them online or from Dunelm/IKEA).

I sleep on my side and wedge it between my legs so one bit goes in front (supporting hips and tummy) and the other bit sort of wedges behind my bum/back.

I’ve had mine since about 16 weeks and it’s been a life saver!

Anyone had experience of the full body ones? I’m also on the look out. So difficult to tell which will be best isn’t it?

I have the full body one for a bad back and it's fantastic. It was about £6 off eBay!

I got a giant u shaped one. Thinknit was for Lancashire bed linen or somewhere like that. I’m 6ft 1 and it was big enough to have the u bit under my head and have one side at my back supporting me that way and the other bit down my front, under my bump and between my legs. It definitely filled the bed but holy Jesus was it comfortable.

I love my bbhugme - expensive but definitely worth it and still use it now!

I second the bbhugme! Sorry - I know you specifically asked for suggestions that won't break the bank but it's such an amazing pillow and I still use it for sleeping now. A couple of friends used it for nursing too

I have a giant U shaped one like @NoParticularPattern. Sooo comfy! I wedge myself in with it behind my back and then under my bump and between my legs on the front. Only trouble is it literally takes up the entire bed and I've moved into the spare room with it because my hips were killing me and our spare bed is softer. It's bliss but I do feel like I've abandoned DH in favour of the pillow 😂

I got the Cuggl sleep body pillow from Argos (£15) from about 16 weeks and it's amazing. My mum made me a cover from some old bedding too to make it more comfy as the case it comes with can start to go a bit bobbly.

I’ve got the dreamgenii and love it. It’s much smaller than most of the other pillows so DH still gets enough room too!

I've got a dreamgeni too. I've paired it with a wedge cushion as I find I still roll into my back.

The wedge was from Amazon and cost about £7
