So I've got severe back pain in one side on my back , I've had it for 3 weeks now and it's not getting any better , I know my body is going to be changing and stretching but why is this constantly hurting and not getting better , all I can do is put hot water bottles on it and take paracetamol which doesn't help ☹️ it's so painful it takes my breath away most of the time

upper or lower back? Could be sciatica, which is unlikely to get better until after birth. I have it, as well as pgp, hip pain and last pregnancy spd. All went almost immediately post birth though. Have you spoken to your midwife?

@katiel1234 it's definitely worth getting it looked at.

That said, it's not unusual to get very stiff and sore during pregnancy. Prenatal yoga is a lifesaver for my back.

Good luck with it.
