7 weeks and bleeding what should I do?

Hi, I’m not sure what I should
Do as I’m pretty sure I’m having a miscarriage but at only seven weeks do I just manage this at home? At nine weeks with DD2 I had bleeding and they scanned me but that was after my booking in appointment with the midwife so I had numbers etc for the early pregnancy unit.
I started bleeding last night 7pm, brown and quite a lot, it’s actually stopped now after I cried myself to sleep expecting to wake up soaked in blood... so I’m expecting it to start again but confused 😐 any help would be appreciated xx

Also just to add, I have been taking 50mg B6 since conception and yesterday was the first day I didn’t... may I have caused this? I know it supports progesterone so that could lead to bleeding😐

Do you have an early pregnancy assessment centre nearby? Give them a ring. If they’re closed and you can get there, maybe turn up and wait in the waiting room? Where I live there’s usually a queue outside the doors before it opens.

Phone your GP surgery first thing and see if you can be referred to early pregnancy again. It can be common to bleed during pregnancy don't write yourself off!
Are the B12 tablets prescribed? If not just check it's ok to take during pregnancy
Good luck! FWIW I had a huge bleed st 12 weeks for about 6 weeks, getting less and less, it was terrifying but it was fine. I've also had miscarriages that both did and did not have bleeding so please just call your GP and good luck!

When I had bleeding at 7 weeks I called my GP and they referred me to the early pregnancy unit who scanned me. Hope everything is ok for you

silversplodge · 08/10/2018 06:26

Call your GP when they open and they will refer you to EPU for a scan, or you could Google and see if your local hospitals do a self referral service - mine don't and it needs GP referral.
The likelihood is all will be fine, even though it is worrying. It won't be because you missed the B6.

Thank you all so much. I’m going to phone the doctors at 8am and I’ll update later x

No the B6 was not prescribed, I have been silly and self medicating.

Are you near St. George in Tooting? They have a self-refer EPU. I went there when I was 7 weeks with dd1 for the same reason.

tenlittledinosaurss · 08/10/2018 06:52

I had early bleeding, called GP and once they had seen me they arranged a scan at the EPU.

SSRainbow · 08/10/2018 09:46

I have a scan at 11, will just be pleased to confirm one way or the other x

How did you get in @SSRainbow

Stormwhale · 08/10/2018 14:11

Hope you got on ok op.

SSRainbow · 08/10/2018 17:50

Thanks so much for the support everyone, the sonographer found a tiny heart beat and I’m crossing everything that the bleeding doesn’t come back x

I'm so relieved for you SSRainbow! I'm 6 weeks so I have a small idea of how you must've been feeling.

flumpybear · 09/10/2018 06:19

Great news!

SSRainbow · 09/10/2018 09:48

Thanks everyone.

I did bleed again last night but only slight compared to the night before. I’m wondering if it is linked to breastfeeding my 9 month old as both occasions have been after feeding x
