Unborn baby fart??

OK, this is going to sound wierd but was wondering if any other mumsnetters have experienced this???

since a couple of days ago i have been feeling a slight bubbling out of my front bottom and it felt wierd and shocked me and the only explanation i can think of is maybe the baby is breaking wind down there and its coming out? would it get through the amneotic sack? do unborn babies break wind?

i know this sounds strange but i just dont have a clue?????

This can happen but is unlikely to be related to the baby. More to do with being pregnant IYSWIM. The wind would not be able to get out as the baby is completely encased.

Your front bottom?? Oh dear. This is your vagina. You are pregnant, you really can't be describing this as your "front bottom".

It's just wind; yours not the baby's.

it came out the front part, not the back??? i dont understand, i did think it would be very unlikely that it would be baby but just couldnt think of another explanation??

nothing gets out of the amniotic sac, and through a closed cervix ,especially not baby trumps!

have oyu never had that experience before, of trapped wind in your foof? sometimes can happen during sex?

i wouldn;t worry, tis perfectly natural

oh yeah, had it during sex

but there wasnt anything causing it

it may especially happen because of natural increased vaginal lubrication during pg.

unborn babies cannot fart because they have no air in the first place, they receive oxygenised blood via the placenta and not air like we know iyswim?

yeah, 2 of my own and a stepson. they are 5,5, & 2. (i have a 5 yr old and a 2 yr old)its the best! we are ttc again

i think its up to the parents tbh. i'm one of those people who will always be brrody i think. i liked having siblings, i'm one of three girls. my dp is an only and liked being an only. i dont think there is one answer iyswim? and its not selfish; its just your choice!

don't be embarrassed.. my sister didn't know until she'd had her second daughter, that we had three holes down there. she thought she peed out of her vag!!! WTF??!! I had to correct her after I'd pissed myself laughing!

If only unborn babies DID fart, I could blame my flatulence on the baby. I don't think I've ever farted so much in my life
