Maternity coat - JoJo or Seraphine?

Looking at their Parkas, has anybody had one? Would you recommend? The Seraphine is a fair bit more expensive, not sure if it’s worth it...
I think I want one I can use for babywearing and these both fit the bill.

I haven’t got the Parka but have had quite a lot of other clothes from both (but especially Seraphine). I think the brand that will suit you best depends on your body shape - I’m short and quite busty (pre preg 36e and have gone up to a 36ff/g while nursing) and find seraphine stuff fits nicely while Jojo is typically very tight on the busy unless I size up and then it doesn’t fit anywhere else.

If it helps, I have a great fleece for babywearing - cheaper and lighter weight than a parka so for me it is a bit more versatile - www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00S7WUP4Y?psc=1&ref=yo_pop_mb_pd_title&tag=mumsnetforum-21

I treated myself to the Seraphine 3 In 1 parka, mainly for baby wearing. Haven’t worn it yet as it is quite warm and not needed yet. I have tried it on and it’s lovely! So warm and soft, clearly good quality. I was 39ish weeks when I tried it on and it fit in my pre-pregnancy size (I'm a large bust as well). Will definitely do the job baby wearing in Scotland this winter!

Meant to say I tried it on without the extra panel and it fit.

Interesting, I have a reasonably large bust and I've already bought a couple of serephine dresses which fit really nicely. It's so hard not being able to try them on isn't it!

Oh that’s a good tip re the bust fitting. I just bought a lovely dress from JoJo that fitted beautifully everywhere else but was massively too small on the bust. For some reason I thought seraphine would be smaller. I was hoping to get away without a a coat as I did last time but I think I’ll need to buy one as I’m in different seasons and much bigger.

If its a nice classic style that you can potentially wear again afterwards go for Seraphine, they do lovely stuff

I got a baby wearing one from jojo, but I think I’m going to send it back. I’m only 30 weeks and it only just fits (with the extra panel!!) because of my wide hips.
