i got through the whole of my first pregnancy mark-free

but i have some suspicious red marks above my tummy button

can't see them clearly due to size of bump

No one can see them if you wear clothes so don't worry about it. I have stretch marks and they are the least of my worries. Would probably have them anyway by my age even if I'd never been pg.

You haven't been itching the bump though have you? I wailed that I had a couple of stretchmarks coming a month back, only to find they were scratches from being so itchy which healed up and buggered off!

Keep moisturising, it might help. Even if it doesn't stop them happening (they reckon it's a genetic thing, did your Mum have any?) it will condition the skin and help the scars fade faster.

I was riddled with the buggers as a teenager like a roadmap due to rapid weight gain/loss, (mostly gain, worse luck) so now all mine are the same colour as my skin (skimmed milk blue white lol) so I'm hoping my stomach is stretched out enough not to get any more! 7 weeks to go, things are getting a bit taut so we'll see...

i have so many stretch marks! Yesterday my mum told me my belly looked like tiger bread! However am using bio oil and it does seems to help to fade them and its not too expensive!
