I have just received my nuchal test results and the risk for chromosomal abnormalities is 1:2332. I am 34, do you think this is average? Nuchal measurements were 1.2 so quite low. I know my result is classified as low risk but I keep reading of people who got a 1:100,000 result and this worries me! HmmConfusedSad

Mine came back as 1:260 - I was 38. I paid for a NIPT which came back 1:1,000,000. For the peace of mind the £300 was worth it for me - but my result was significantly higher than yours.

I went straight for Harmony, didn't have the screening - hospital said Harmony was much more accurate so no need. It was £350 through my hospital but I know costs vary, that was cheaper than private clinics I looked at. For me as soon as I found out it existed I knew I wouldn't relax unless I had it. It gave me the peace of mind, but I am going to be 36 when I have mine and I knew I would come back higher risk due to age. I also know I'm having a boy :) doesn't stop me stressing about the scans still though - natural worrier!
