Reassurance needed at nearly 6 weeks

Hello! Long tmi post Sorry...
I found out last week I was pg with our first. I'll be 6 weeks tomorrow.
I was instantly anxious because, well that's how I am! I'm 35 and have pcos so I worry about losing it. We are over the moon and can't help but think ahead about names and plans.
Well a week or 2 of queasiness, expanding tummy, tiredness, sensitive nips oh and 3 positive hpt and I felt reassured.

But then the last 3 days I've had a dull low tummy ache like on period, or like when you need the loo!
Then yesterday I suddenly had loose bowels (tmi sorry) and when I wiped (vagina) there was some cervical mucus with a very very faint pink tinge. Omg my stomach flipped.
Then last night I needed to go number 2 again a bit urgently and this time the cervical mucus had a very slight tiny brownish red streak. By this time I felt sure I was going to start bleeding today or soon.
Last night and this morning I wiped clean after about 5 wees (Still weeing a Lot!) But then needing to go number 2 this morning,
I checked really carefully ... wiped before wee, after wee - clean both times.
Wiped after bm and there it was. Bit of mucus with tiny tiny brownish streak.
I still have a tummy ache.
I've read so much online about how aches and spotting and streaked mucus are usually ok, that I'm driving myself mad. I do believe that the urgent bm and/or heavy lifting I did yesterday has just disturbed something. But I can't help worrying.
Has anyone else noticed similar?

I would try to relax about it if you can. I had heavy bleeding dripping down my legs and strong cramps ...... and the baby was still hanging in there. I know it is hard not to worry but there is nothing you can do to change the outcome of things at this point.

Thankyou @silversplodge
I'm trying not to worry. I think i will take a hpt though.

It's such a tiny amount of blood I've seen and only after a bit of strain I guess. God I would fall apart going through what you did. So happy you had a good outcome.

While I never had any pink mucous, I did have the kind of crampy feelings that you described (and the bowel movements). I'm now 18 weeks.
I would say though, that if your anxious and seeing pink/brown discharge, while there's a good chance it's nothing your EPAU will be happy to reassure you, whether they see you in person or just have a chat over the phone xx

Agree ask your GP or midwife to refer you to the early pregnancy Unit. They will do a scan and maybe blood tests. I have had this kind of bleeding with both good and bad outcomes, so best to get checked. Flowers

I could have posted the exact same im 6+2
And since thursday ive had the same i rang the epu and was told it can be normal mine started after and excercise class so ive put it down to that iritating the cervix or something
I have a scan friday but they said as long as its not bright red coming out constantly its fine
It could be old implantation blood
They will see you past 6 weeks so always worth tryng to get a scan

Hi, I’m in a similar situation and just to reassure you I went for an early scan today. The sonograoher saw a heartbeat and said that when she was asking me questions and I said that I hadn’t had a lot of pain with the bleeding she thought things would be fine. Can you get an early scan to put your mind at rest?
