I've just turned 20 weeks and I feel so uncomfortable with my belly. I'm writing this as I'm sat in work on a 12 and half hour night shift and my belly feels rock solid at times. Whenever I stand up I feel like pain in my hips like the kind of pain you would get if you had been on a run or something. God I don't remember this with my first 2. On the plus side of it all I'm finally starting to feel my little princess kicking which I absolutely love. Xx

I had exactly the same thing with my son and I did the nights as a hca. I had spd though (Google it, sounds very much like what your describing) if it is that I completely sympathise with you as it is awful! I had this from 20 weeks up until I had him at 38+6 ended up having to do reduced hours and have time off because of it, though my labour and birth was a dream compared to a lot of women, labour was 6 hours, I had him at 2.35am and was discharged at 12pm the same day (son took to breastfeeding straight away) didn't even go up to the ward they discharged me from Labour ward. Fingers crossed for you!

Like tonight I was watching the X factor and my belly fine little one kicking about and when I stood up to make a brew my belly was really hard and had a lot of pressure down there.. At night time if I lie on my side and baby is fidgeting about she some how makes me have stabbing pains down below.. Again I don't remember having these pains with my other 3 kids lol.. I've been told it does ease off eventually xxx
