I've just found out I'm pregnant again. This will be baby #1 but I've had two chemical pregnancies in the last 3-4 months (one at 4 weeks, one at 4+5) so you can imagine I'm a little over anxious and worried.

I've been testing since the day AF was due and these are my tests. Does the line progression here look like it might be viable? Last time the lines stayed about the same, the time before they were faint and get fainter every day.

Top is 11dpo, second is 12dpo and last 2 are today. They aren't Frers, but are the First Response Rapid Result ones, if that helps?

I think I just need a hand squeeze really. Can't face going through it again. Sad

I know you're worried, but those look like they're progressing to me.

Try hard not to test tomorrow, wait for until Sunday and take a FRER. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Thank you so much @Si1ver - do you think I should do a Frer or one of these ones on Sunday? Wouldn't a Frer show stronger?

I went in for early bleeding at 4+4 and got a negative on a hospital test after a positive at home. They told me categorically not to keep testing, as urine tests just aren’t that sensitive and could be thrown off by a number of factors including hydration, time of day etc.

I know how awful it feels not knowing but honestly, it’s not reliable and then either false reassurance or an unnecessary cause of potential worry!

I don’t know how helpful your EPU are, but it could be worth calling as with two previous chemical pregnancies, they might offer you reassurance blood tests to check for rising hcg levels.

Si1ver · 05/10/2018 18:08

You could do both on Sunday if you wanted. I'm saying FRER because it'll give you the strongest line.

The best thing you can do is try not to panic. Nothing you do now is going to change the outcome of this pregnancy. I find the phrase Today I am pregnant very reassuring. Try saying it to yourself whenever the negative thoughts or worries become intrusive.

I can completely understand (previous MC) but you're going to drive yourself mad continually testing and comparing lines. They look like lovely strong lines, leave it now if you can.

And congratulations! Thanks

And congratulations! Thanks

You're all wonderful, thank you I feel much more reassured now. I did have a blood test after the last one and it came back clear so here's hoping that it was just a run of bad luck. I know people have it much worse than me, and I am so grateful you've all taken the time to comment. Thanks

Looks perfect to me! Remember that HCG doubles every 48hrs so you may not see as much rest progression as you’d like if you’re testing 24hr apart. That’s good progression though!
