Bishops score?

Hi Laidies! Smile

Just looking back over my notes from my membraysweep earlier this week and I have a score of 6. Soft cervix length 3cm and central. 2cm dilated and baby is stationed at -2cm. Is this a good score? Midwife seemed to think I’d have a really good chance of going into Labour within 48 hours but it’s now been 52 (not that I’m counting or anything)

Would there be any chance things could have progressed since Wednesday? Because I feel like I’ve got a bowling ball between my hips and if I sneeze I’m gonna give birth Hmm

Not to put a dampener on your parade. We were told one day that the bishops score was 6 (by the consultant) and the next day it was 1 (by a midwife) seems to be a little down to personal interpretation... or we were just unlucky! Best of luck though, that baby will need to come out one way or another 😊
