Fed up - sickness, tired & food

Hi, just wondered if anyone else gets a fed up feeling or if I'm being over dramatic.

I'm 16weeks tomorrow and every day am still shattered, throw up every night and don't seem to be able to face any food other than toast or plain pasta, even water is making me queasy at times.

I have been back a week from a holiday abroad where although i struggled with food I was great with sickness only suffering once and thought I'd turned a corner but since returning every night between 6 - 9pm I throw up.

Just feel like I constantly have to schedule my life around eating little and often and being somewhere I can comfortably throw up if needed.

Is this fed up feeling normal or do I just need to stop being such a wuss?

Tia

Haven't got much advice as I'm only 8 weeks, but feeling equally shit and fed up and just wanted to give you a wave and say I'm right here with you! xx

I'm almost 10 weeks and have been suffering as you describe for 5 and am feeling very grumpy about it. It's just so crap!!! And it seems like it will never end.

I don't have advice, OP, but I sympathize.

I also sympathise! Do you think you were less sick on holiday cause you were more rested? I’m sick almost every night feel fine most of the day, doctor says it’s because I’m tired and could I not get more rest ha!

Hi all, nice to know I'm not the i my one, yes I definitely think sunshine and lots of rest is key contributor to feeling really well.

Still very frustrating have had nausea feeling for 2 days despite being off work, just hate the sickness feeling it's just really getting me down.

Fingers crossed it will be over soon for all of us x

@doodles1234
I'm 16 weeks Iv felt pretty vile since 13 weeks (had m/s since 9 weeks but coped with it for 4 weeks) Iv been to the doctors and have been given some anti sickness pills to take as Iv been experiencing my nausea overnight. The pills work and I'm fine now, go get some..worth a try!

@itonlytakesone

I have my midwife appointment on Friday so will ask her, someone also mentioned travel sickness bands and they help.if you wear them.

Just getting very fed up with it now, don't know how people cope when it's really severe.

Sorry you’ve been so sick. I’m 16 weeks too and though I’m largely better I was wretching into a plastic bag at the train station today. Come and join us on the March 2019 antenatal thread - you’ll get lots of support there.
